Helping With Children's Rights
We have been learning about the children of Kroo Bay. Kroo Bay is a slum community in Africa. Some children in Kroo Bay don’t have clean water. Sometimes they have to walk for miles to get clean water. They have their showers out of a pipe in the street.
In Kroo Bay they have to share a classroom. Some of the desks and chairs are broken. In the morning and afternoon they have to carry their desks and chairs.
Save the Children helps poor children in countries all around the word. I would like to buy a Baby kit from the wish list so the mothers would have enough stuff for their new born baby.
So please tell your friends about Save the Children’s wish list and save money to buy a baby kit because poor childen need it.

How to Make a Fossil
Fossils are precious and dead so Room 5 made our own.
You need:
Clay,
Small plastic container,
Shells,
Plaster of Paris,
Gold spray paint,
A thin piece of metal,
An old cloth.
What to do.
First press the clay into the small plastic container until it is 1½ cms deep.
Next push the shells into the clay
and pull them out.
Then make the hook.
Now ask an adult to pour the Plaster of Paris in until it is 1½-2 cms deep.
After that lightly place the hook in the Plaster of Paris so you can hang it up.
After a few days pat it on the bottom and it will fall out. When it has fallen out, peel the clay off the Plaster of Paris.
Eventually the Plaster of Paris will have dried so you can spray the gold paint on.
Finally when the gold paint has dried you can put the black paint on and quickly rub it of with the old cloth.
Now it is done so you can hang it up.

Amy’s Adventures
"When is it?”
“Here is an invitation.”
One week later it was her birthday. First they played Pass the Parcel. After that they played musical chairs. Next they had a sleep over.
